Welcome to the Home Page of Clambo,

King of the Bivalves!

Brief Life History: Born in California, torn away at the tender age of three months...

Raised on Long Island, NY in a small town called Bellport on a heavy diet of sailing, fishing, clamming and physicist humor. Raised by two midwesterners from Iowa. University schooling in Western New York (voted nicest Long Islander in Freshman dorm) at SUNY-Buffalo and SUNY-Binghamton. After graduate work in Geography, started career in Housing Planning in South Carolina only to find he didn't like it there. Changed careers to computer networking and married a wonderful woman from the midwest whose mother is also a dietician (see how it all connects?). Works as a Network Engineer and lives in Pennsylvania with wife, devoted dog and two cats.

Things that interest me: Watching documentaries on Cable TV, Science Fiction, Camping, Watching Wildlife on TV or in person, Hiking, Canoeing, Skeet Shooting and Sporting Clays (Sporting Clays is a shooting mans golf), Hunting (mostly small game, duck hunting is currently my big passion).

Also, some of my former hobbies (which I'm interested in, just not as much as before): Geology, Geography (Maps not Rocks), Archery, Hockey, Cello, Tap (and Ballet).

Other humor includes my "Critical Analysis of Davey and Goliath"

"The Complete Spitz" which is a list of short stories that never need to be written. My High School nickname in orchestra was "Spitz" and a group of us (including the orchestra leader) created a set of thought provoking titles. You should be able to imagine the story from the title. See if you can guess what year the list was created.

Also, follow the link to a very funny fake plea for funds for the "The National Foundation of Whale Shavers". I didn't write this, my friend Evan Rabeck did. I find it very funny and wish that I did write it. I figured it deserved a home on the web.
